Melt away the stress of the week with this 60-minute restorative yoga class. We’ll begin with breath work, followed by a slow guided set of poses to connect breath and body. Along the way we’ll set intentions and learn to use the practice of yoga nidra. Please bring your yoga mat.
This session is led by Ren Rivera and is part of the BIPOC Wellness Collective yoga and meditation series - Sunday rotation. If you plan to attend, please register as it helps the instructor plan for the session. To register, you do not have to have an account, you can register as a guest. This session is $15, you do not pay when you register, rather pay the instructor before or after the session. Please note - the venue is located in West Central, a neighborhood downtown, and there is only street parking available. Thank you!
About the BIPOC Wellness Collective: The BIPOC Wellness Collective provides an inclusive space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) to practice yoga, meditation, and be in a space of community, led by some of Fort Wayne’s BIPOC instructors. Classes will rotate between different instructors who will ensure students at all levels are able to follow along and create a container that may leave them feeling stronger, empowered, or rested depending on the class design.
About Ren Rivera: I’m a 32-year-old Latina immigrant and mother hoping to bring relief through yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breath work). I’ve used all three in my own personal journey living with a chronic illness. I would love to share what I’ve learned through it all.
