Feb 25 will be online due to the anticipated snowstorm Breathe into the Earth is a 20-30 minute grounding meditation space for BIPOC bodies to return to stillness, breath and quiet wisdom of the land. Through a gentle guidance and shared silence we will root into the presence creating space, rest, and connection. Since this one will be at home (online), make it special if you want -- find a cozy corner/space in your home, light a candle even. Feel free to have video off or on. After the sit, we will chat and be in community. A zoom link will be sent to you via email.. If you happen to have issue with the link the day of, please call 260-240-0497.

About Alyssa Leeper: I am new to guiding and I offer this space with deep respect for the practice and our community. I’ve been meditating for over a year under the guidance of my Zen Buddhist BIPOC teacher whose presence and teaching have deeply shaped my practice. I am honored to share what I have received in a gentle space to breathe and return to ourselves.
About the BIPOC Wellness Collective: The BIPOC Wellness Collective provides an inclusive space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) to practice yoga, meditation, and be in a space of community, led by some of Fort Wayne’s BIPOC instructors. Classes will rotate between different instructors who will ensure students at all levels are able to follow along and create a container that may leave them feeling stronger, empowered, or rested depending on the class design.
